To strengthen digital trust anTo strengthen digital trust and support job creation in Cameroon, GAN Tech Consulting Ltd has officially launched the QwickServices platform. The platform was made public in a press conference on Monday April 20, 2026. The technology- driven platform arrives at a critical time, offering a secure, mobile-first solution to connect verified service providers with individuals and businesses across Cameroon and the wider CEMAC region. Despite the rise of digital commerce in Cameroon, the market remains plagued by fraudsters and a lack of formal structure for skilled labourers. QwickServices addresses these hurdles by digitizing the service economy. The platform allows users to seamlessly discover, book, pay for, and track services in real-time. From plumbers and electricians to legal consultants and web developers, the app hosts over 2,000 service categories. By integrating digital wallets, job bidding, and a robust performancetracking system, QwickServices aims to foster financial inclusion for both the formal and informal sectors. The launching ceremony in Douala saw the attendance of board members like HRH Fon Angwafor IV of Mankon, who emphasized the platform’s potential to solve the high dependency ratio and youth unemployment. "This platform is a solution to a real-time problem", HRH Fon Angwafor IV stated. "We have many youths with the mental capacity and skills to solve problems, but they are often hidden in villages or corners of the city where their abilities aren't recognized. Qwick- Services brings these people into the 'limelight, he added." Sharing a personal success story, the Fon revealed that his palace recently used the app to purchase a cow within just 10 minutes. He particularly praised the user-evaluation feature: "The rating system will help elevate quality. In time, those who do not provide good service will be filtered out by the market itself." Clovis Dze Kwa, Managing Director of GAN Tech Consulting Ltd, highlighted that the platform was built to move away from "who you know" toward "what you can do." "Over 80% of our workforce is in the informal sector. We have the talent and the technology; now we have the bridge", Dze Kwa explained. To ensure clarity, the platform operates via two distinct apps. For homeowners and businesses seeking services. For skilled Cameroonians be it hairdressers, cleaners, accountants, etc.to list their services and find work. The system protects both parties: funds are held securely and only released to the provider once the customer confirms the job is completed to satisfaction. Currently, QwickServices is operational in Douala, Yaounde, Buea, and Bamenda (including parts of Limbe). The platform has already on boarded nearly 1,000 verified providers, with hundreds of transactions already completed during its pilot phase. The platform is designed to specifically target youth and graduates. Providing workers with digital work records and verified reviews.
