Official Examinations: Minister Outlines Directives

This was during a meeting with Secondary Education stakeholders in the Littoral region on Thursday May 7, 2026.
The Minister of Secondary Education Professor Nalova Lyonga, has called on education stakeholders in the Littoral region to respect hierarchy and work hand in hand to ensure that official examinations go on well. The Minister was speaking in Douala on May 7 as she chaired a meeting with education stakeholder ahead of an upcoming official examinations to address operational concerns. During the meeting discussions were frank and open and the Minister advised all to table complaints and provide necessary solutions. The Regional Delegate of Secondary Education for the Littoral Region, Thamar Eboa, regretted that collaborators bypass hierarchy, personal relationships has replaced meritocracy, no respect of hierarchy just to name a few. With the above complaints, Minister Nalova Lyonga laid emphasis on the importance of professionalism and politeness in the execution of their duties. She mentioned that complaints and concerns must be handled through the normal channels so that files and submissions continue to move forward without disruption.
