Exhibitors Portray Services, Opportunities

Institutions taking part at the 15th edition of the Government Action Fair also present partnership prospects and products produced.

Indeed, the public-private sector partnership championed by authorities within the framework of the structural transformation of the country is on the spotlight at the 15th edition of the Government Action Fair holding at the Yaounde Town Hall from June 6 to 13, 2026. Holding under the theme, “State-Private Sector Partnership; Lever for an Emerging Cameroon,” both public and private institutions are exhibiting their goods, services and opportunities to the public. A visit at the different stands leaves one with ample information on contact persons and procedures for an individual or community worry to be addressed, internship, business (partnerships and investments) and employment opportunities. The Minister of Communication had a tour of the stands after the official opening ceremony on June 8, 2026 which he chaired on behalf of the Prime Minister Head of Government. Public institutions such as Ministries are presenting to those who visit their stands, their missions and field actions. The Ministry of Communication for example provides information to its visitors on how the government communicates on issues of national and international interest that have a direct impact on the economy. Given that Cameroon is eventually in-cooperating digitalisation in its programmes, the Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reform is taking time off to educate visitors of its stand what they are doing to ensure the entire public service is adequately documented, ghost workers chased, recruitment and integration made more transparent, faster and secured, and the entire system update to date. This is akin to the Ministry of Finance with the online payment of taxes to curb embezzlement. At the Supreme State Audit Office, they are presenting a modern ultimate audit institution at the service of the population that seeks to ensure that public wealth is properly managed.
