UNESCO Challenge 2026: "Becoming A Leader" Video Contest Opens

Organized by the Cameroon Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations, FECACLUBS-UNESCO, the competition targets 18-35 year olds to highlight their success stories.
The Cameroon Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations, FECACLUBS-UNESCO, has launched a call for applications for an international online video challenge titled "Becoming a leader: The story that shaped me."
First UNESCO Global Youth Forum
Organized under the umbrella of the First UNESCO Global Youth Forum, GYF, the digital competition aims to highlight the inspiring journeys of young change-makers. Promote UNESCO values, and strengthen global youth networks, while focusing on peace, education, and sustainable development.
The ultimate winner of the challenge will receive a fully funded trip to China to attend the Second Global Youth Forum of UNESCO Associations and Clubs later this year. With all transport, accommodation, and registration expenses entirely covered.
Those Eligible
The challenge is strictly individual and open to young change-makers who meet the following criteria: Must be an active member of a UNESCO Association or Club, and be between 18 and 35 years old.
How to Participate
To enter, candidates must create and publish a vertical Instagram Reel on a public account. The video must respect the following guidelines: Be maximum of 60 seconds long, and in English or French. The content should be a personal story highlighting an experience, challenge, or encounter that shaped the user's leadership and civic engagement.
Participants must tag @gyf_wfuca, @wfuca, and @unescoclubs_kz, and use the official hashtag #unescoclubs_youthroadmap. The link to the published Reel must be submitted via the official Google Form (https://forms.gle/4skc4S9Ro9WkMrA4A). The hard deadline for all submissions is June 27, 2026, with the final results scheduled to be announced on July 31, 2026.
