African Volleyball Championships: Cameroon Into Semis

T he Cameroon Boys and Girls National U-18 Vol­ leyball teams are ma­ king steady progress in the African Championships of their category, currently un­ derway in Alexandria, Egypt. Both sides have secured their tickets to the semi-finals of the competition; a remarka­ ble performance for the Ca­ meroonian flagbearers. For the girls, the Cameroo­ nian team earned their place in the last four after defea­ ting North African side, Mo­ rocco 3 sets to 1 yesterday, July 27, 2026. This victory allowed the young Lionesses to finish third in the first round behind Tunisia and Egypt, with Algeria comple­ ting the list of semi-finalists. Cameroon will face Tunisia in the semi-finals today, July 28, 2026, for a place in the final. Again, a victory in this match will open the door to World cup of this category.
