Buea: Teens Nurtured In Technology

They picked up lessons in robotics, web development, programming, drone technology, virtual realities among others.
The 7th edition of Holiday Tech Camp for teens on Saturday, August 22, 2026, concluded eight weeks skills acquisition. Organized by Nervtek Education for children between seven and 17 years, the 122 participants acquired knowledge in coding, artificial intelligence, electronics, robotics, digital manufacturing, web technology, and cyber security among others. Placed under the patronage of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, the event was on the theme “Inspiring kids to code and build robotics.” The representative of the Minister of Posts and Telecom munications, Emadeu Guy, said the gov’t attaches particular importance to such initiatives. He pointed out that Came roon’s digital transformation requires infrastructure and appropriate policies, but equally requires skilled confidence and responsible young people.
