Investing In Cameroon : More Projects Underway

A delegation of businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, yesterday presented their investment prospects in the country to the Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Ngute.
Infrastructure, energy and low-cost housing are some of the sectors in which the Group SGC Investment LLC (a United Arab Emirates international company that operates with a clear governance structure, international credibility and traceable leadership responsibility) plans to carry out investment projects in Cameroon. The delegation of businessmen, led by Crown Prince Sheikh Eissa Bin Abdullah Al Muallah, Chairman of SGC Board, was received by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute yesterday January 6, 2026.
The working session was basically for the investors to present their projects and prospects in the country, with the two parties possibly mapping out a partnership and implementation strategy. The objective, as explained by the businessmen on a prospection mission, noted that their investments in Cameroon have the approach of minimising cost and maximizing impact on the population, through the diligent use of resources.
Exchanges with the Prime Minister centred around the portfolio of projects the Group SGC Investment wants to bring to the country, as a measure of accompanying Cameroon in its emergence drive by 2035. In simply terms, they intend to offer technical and financial assistance to the go- vernment as concerns the imple- mentation of major projects and programmes contained in the Natio- nal Development Strategy 2020- 2030. Without any details on the finances thus far, projections are estimated at about half a billion dollars.
