AFCON 2025 : Cameroon Knows Group Opponents Today

The eagerly-anticipated final draw of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 will be held in Rabat today 27 January, 2025 where the 24 competing teams will know their opponents. The event begins at 7 p.m. Cameroon time.
This draw will determine Cameroon’s path to the much-expected glory, with the 24 qualified teams being divided into six groups for the first round. The ceremony will be a star-studded affair, bringing together football dignitaries, including heads of federations, international media, and legendary players. Three internationally renowned artists will be in the spotlight to set the evening on fire: Hatim Ammor, Gims and RedOne.
Cameroon, having topped Group J with an impressive 14 points during the qualification campaign, enters the draw with confidence. However, their placement in Pot Two, based on their seventh position in Africa on the December FIFA rankings, presents a potential challenge.
