West Region : SDF Supporters Join UNDP

The Secretary General of the National Union for Democracy and Progress (UNDP), Pierre Flambeu Ngayap, has told militants in the West Region that the party’s alliance with the Cameroon’s People Democratic Movement (CPDM) at one moment became complex and needed a political will to resolve it. He said it will surely be a long road for the UNDP to do what they are set out to do which revolves around improving the living conditions of the people. Pierre Flambeu Ngayap, made the declaration in Bafoussam on July 22, 2025 while addressing the press and militants. He explained the recent decision of the party’s central committee to put forth a candidate for the Presidential election. 
The Secretary General went further to announce that the press conference and political meeting was to introduce some former SDF militants, among them former legislators and elected officials who recently resigned from the party and decided to join the ranks of UNDP party.
