Concord International Hotel : Architectural Marvel

The Olezoa neighbourhood in Yaounde now shines brighter, especially with the presence of the Concord International Hotel, an imposing structure which catches the eyes of every passerby. Constructed by the Association of Treasury Staff (MUTRESOR)T, it is a ten-floor building equipped with advanced technologies and innovative materials. The principal objective of the five-star hotel is to generate income for community development. 
It contains 116 rooms and suites in total; divided into 72 executive and 16 standard rooms, 24 prestigious suites, amongst which are two presidential suites and two rooms for people who are physically challenged.  Construction work started in August 2014 and the total cost is estimated at FCFA 19 billion. Employment perspectives indicate that more than 100 permanent jobs will be created alongside several part-time and indirect jobs. 
After its inauguration on September 30, 2025 by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute, he toured the building which is already well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and ready for public use. The futuristic structure has two underground floors, which contain two parking lots, a snack bar, an industrial kitchen, a gym and a night club. On the first floor is the administrative bloc, a restaurant and some banquet halls. There is another banquet hall with a capacity to contain 600 people and some rooms on the second floor. From the third to the eight floor are equipped rooms for the comfort of customers. The prestigious suites (said to be already operational) are all located on the last two floors of the hotel, with a piano bar on the last floor which provides the user a panoramic view of some neighbourhoods in Yaounde.
