According to the Director General of MIPROMALO Dr. Likiby Boubakar, the bilateral concertation would enable Cameroonian real estate actors move from research to high-speed manu­ facturing that utilizes local assets like native soil, timber, and marble. To him, empowering local transfor­ mation and consumption, would help to significantly lower the financial barrier to housing while driving broad macroeconomic growth. The Director General underscored that amidst bottlenecks such as insufficient funds, persistent land disputes, and escalating prices of local materials; abiding by the Prime Ministerial order that urges house owners to substi­ tute foreign cement and imported finishing materials with domestic alternatives he said, would curbs capital flight, preserve national fo­ reign exchange reserves, amongst others.
