FENASSCO B Mfoundi : Yaounde IV Are Champions

Yaounde IV (men) and Yaounde IV (women) football teams are the champions of the FENASSCO League B Mfoundi Divisional championship. This is the outcome of the Mfoundi divisional finals of the FENASSCO League B Games that took place at the Presidential Guard Sports Complex in Obili, Yaounde, on Saturday February 22, 2025. Organised by the Divisional Committee for Mfoundi, the competition brought together sports delegations from the Mfoundi Division. 
As early as 8:00 a.m. organisers were on the field to round off with the few sports disciplines before the final match. The athletes competed in individual and collective sports disciplines notably athletics, handball, basketball, badminton, judo, wrestling, gymnastics, football, futsal and volleyball among others. It all began with a march past of the different delegations. The point of attraction of the day was the men’s football final between Yaounde IV and Yaounde VI. It was an exciting encounter as the public watched with enthusiasm young Cameroonians display excellent talents in football. At the end of the game Yaounde IV beat Yaounde VI 3-0 to lift the trophy. In the women’s final, Yaounde IV thrashed Yaounde VII 5-1. The trophy for Fair Play went to Yaounde V. In the general classification, Yaounde IV finished first wining 32 medals; 15 gold, 12 silver and three bronze. Yaounde III was second with 19 medals; eight gold, five silver and six bronze.
