Show Of Determination

From the initial whistle, the team displayed a clear intent to secure victory, a result achieved through cohesive tactical execution despite a few flops.

André Onana: Exhibited his characteristic proactive approach in organising play and providing vocal leadership. His goalkeeping remained resolute, effectively being an armour to the Libyan offensive threats despite the goal conceded in the last minutes.
Jackson Tchatchoua: Demonstrated dynamism on the flank, contributing timely overlapping runs and deliveries into the box. While occasional lapses in execution were evident, his recovery efforts were commendable.
Michael Ngadeu: He provided an average presence in central defense, consistently neutralizing aerial threats. His late-game acrobatic clearance was remarkable. Nonetheless, he was hesitant on some balls and he did not reassure fans in his ball possessions.
Christopher Wooh: Probably one of the calmest games for Wooh. He won a few air duels in a calm football evening for him.
Nouhou Tolo: Exhibited a sluggish start, gaining momentum only in the latter stages. He had a few difficulties that led to two corners for the Libyan on their right flank.
Carlos Baleba: He demonstrated a good mastery of dribbling and a propensity for winning duels. Nonetheless, he lost a couple of balls and put the Lions in danger on several occasions.
Martin Hongla: Maintained a relatively presence, contributing sporadically. He greatly contributed to Cameroon’s dominance at the midfield, showing attacking and defences qualities.
Moumi Ngamaleu: Struggled with finishing accuracy, often squandering promising opportunities created through his diligent play. His decision-making in the final move proved problematic. Nathan Ngoumou, his second-half substitute still had difficulties in standing out.
