IRIC: Archives Centre Inaugurated

Within the framework of boosting the infrastructural capacity of the International Relations Institute of Cameroon (IRIC), the Ministry of External Relations, supervisory authority of the institution constructed a one-storey building which will serve as the archive centre. The building was inaugurated by the Minister of External Relations, Mbella Mbella who is the President of the Steering Committee of the institution. The minibus of the academic establishment, equally offered by the Ministry of External Relations was also commissioned. While encouraging the efficient use of the building, the Minister said the archives centre is important tool in the modernisation process of diplomacy, as it will enable the conservation of the dynamic memory and the evolution of IRIC. Minister Mbella Mbella added that the centre will also help researchers in international relations with primary sources of information that is very valid, hence the production of scientific documents.
