2025 Presidential Election : CPDM South West Strategises For Victory

Members of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) in the South West Region have begun ground work ahead of the October 2025 Presidential election. On May 31, 2025, at the National School of Local Administration (NASLA) in Buea, they held a strategic meeting with only one objective in mind: victory for their candidate in the October 2025 Presidential election. The meeting was chaired by the Head of the CPDM South West Permanent Regional Delegation of the Central Committee, Peter Mafany Musonge. Guest of honour was the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute. Also in attendance were sons and daughters of the South West Region who are members of government and other top ranking officials in government institutions.
On galvanising and winning the election, three papers were presented. Prof. Elvis Ngolle Ngolle looked at the stakes for the South West Region for the 2025 Presidential election. He proposed they should occupy the social media space. Minister Paul Tasong did a presentation on how to mobilise resources for the CPDM electoral activities in the South West Region. He opted for individual levy. Minister Victor Arrey Mengot made a rallying call for a landslide victory for the CPDM in the South West Region. In this regard, he proposed that in all the 31 CPDM Sections, non-natives should be brought on board. 
Peter Mafany Musonge saluted South West Chiefs who had endorsed the candidacy of President Paul Biya. He equally congratulated the youth of the South West Region who raised FCFA five million as part of President Paul Biya’s legal fee.
