Cameroon- Equatorial Guinea: Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue In Yaounde

The Equato-Guinea Vice President was welcomed yesterday upon arrival at the Yaounde-Nsimalen International airport by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute.

The Vice President of Equatorial Guinea in charge of Defence and State Security, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue is on an official visit in Cameroon. He was welcomed upon arrival at the Yaounde-Nsimalen International airport by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute yesterday November 18, 2025.

It was at 2:35 p.m when the aircraft (Gulfstream 650) on board the Statesman touched the tarmac of the airport. The welcome accorded the Vice President of Equatorial Guinea reflects the quality of the personality and the state of cooperation between the two countries. Equally present to welcome the august guest was the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea to Cameroon, Armando Kote Echuaca, who led the delegation to the airport.

The Prime Minister then led the Vice President to the VIP lounge of the airport, where the two personalities exchanged civilities for some minutes, before each boarding their separate vehicles. Before getting to the VIP lounge, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue greeted compatriots of Equatorial Guinea who accompanied the Ambassador to welcome their Vice President. They were mainly officials of the Embassy and staff of BANGE Bank, an Equato Guinean financial institution operating in Cameroon. The smiles on their faces and the respect accorded the Statesman were telling enough of their joy to welcome him. Before leaving the airport, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue communed with the Equato Guinean community in Cameroon who had showed up at the premises with flags and placards in hand to make sure his arrival is memorial.
