Cup of Cameroon2025 : Colombe Qualifies For Quarterfinals

Colombe of Dja and Lobo have qualified for the quarterfinals of the 2025 edition of the cup of Cameroon. They beat PWD of Bamenda 2-0 during one of the eighth final matches that took place at the Yaounde Omnisports Annex Stadium 1 yesterday July 13, 2025. Many fans from Yaounde and elsewhere came out in their numbers to watch the thrilling encounter. Colombe began the game well but they lost their scoring chances. PWD of Bamenda put up a strong fight creating much pressure for the current cup holders. The Abakwa boys equally had some chances but they squandered them. At half time the score line was 0-0. 
One resumption, Colombe of Dja and came up stronger with a more collective game creating panic on the side of the visitors. PWD equally resisted with a strong defence line warding off any attacks from Colombe. Colombe continued with their onslaught with swift and accurate passes. That paid off as Frank Evina opened scores at the 80th minute benefiting from a leakage in the PWD defence wall. The goal served as a booster to the players of Colombe who were bent on carrying the day. PWD pressed on but most of their shots went off target. During additional time (90+3), Inno Loemba scored the second goal for Colombe and that determined the outcome of the match. Colombe carried the day beating PWD 2-0.
