North West: Some 148 Candidates Begin Writing Bacc Examination

The 2025 session of the Baccalaureat general exams is written in the Government Bilingual High School Bamendankwe and Government Bilingual High School Nkambe sub centres.

The Baccalaureat general examination for the 2025 session started on Monday, May 26, 2025 hitch-free in the Government Bilingual High School (GBHS) Bamendankwe and Government Bilingual High (GBHS) School Nkambe sub centres in the North West Region. The examination started with three subjects that were: Literature, French Language and Computer Science. The Chief of the North West Regional Antenna of the Baccalaureat Board, Nangoh Elvis Mgba on an inspection visit in GBHS Bamendankwe Sub centre told the press that all the 148 candidates were present in the examination halls and effectively started writing. He specified that there are 144 candidates in GBHS Bamendankwe Sub centre in Mezam Division and four candidates in the GBHS Nkambe Sub centre in Donga Mantung Division. Mr Nangoh disclosed that the number of candidates sitting the examination in the North West in the 2025 session have registered an increase of 31 compared to the 2024 session in which there were 117 candidates. He said no case of irregularity had been identified and the campus was calm, secured with the presence of security officers.
