Obituary : Parliament, Population Mourn Hon. Abe Michael

What started circulating as rumors, especially in social media on October 22, 2025 finally became confirmed information of the demise of Hon. Abe Michael Ndra, Member of the National Assembly for the Ako-Misaje Constituency in Donga Mantung Division of the North West Region on the ticket of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM).
The Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Cavaye Yeguie Djibril confirmed the murder of Hon. Abe Michael in Ndu Subdivision on October 22, 2025 in a communique he signed on October 24, 2025. The House Speaker who condemned the barbaric act, also used the occasion to extend the condolences of the National Assembly to the bereaved family. The murdered Hon. Abe Michael Ndra was serving his second term in the National Assembly and was a member of the Committee on Finance and Budget. Following the sad incident, members of Parliament, led by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Mary Meboka paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased in Yaounde on October 25, 2025. On behalf of the House Speaker, she extended the condolence of Hon. Cavayé Yeguie Djibril to the family.  
Information from the Regional Delegation of Communication for the North West Region indicates that Hon. Abe Michael was kidnapped on October 15, 2025.  In the report forwarded to the Minister of Communication, the Divisional Delegate of Communication f...
